About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading capital investment projects within our production facility, with a focus on upgrading the PUW (Purified Water) and WFI (Water for Injection) installations, as well as installing power generators for the entire plant. You will play a critical role from project initiation through to handover and closure.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead capital and investment projects from initiation to handover and closure.
  • Take full responsibility for the project budget, timelines, and achieving project goals and scope.
  • Coordinate and manage multidisciplinary teams, including process, mechanical, EI&I, and civil engineers.
  • Ensure effective stakeholder management and communication, including understanding the needs of end users and translating them into design requirements.
  • Lead projects that involve production equipment, clean/black utilities, cleanrooms, and other facilities.
  • Oversee the upgrade or optimization of production lines or equipment.
  • Act as a problem solver and take responsibility for project outcomes.
  • Demonstrate high adaptability and resilience throughout the project lifecycle.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • University degree in mechanical, automation, electrical engineering, or a related field.
  • PMI certification or a similar project management certification is desired.
  • Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally within GMP environments.
  • Proven experience in project management from early stages through implementation, handover, and closure.
  • Strong knowledge of process design and process engineering within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or food industries.
  • Experience executing projects that involve production equipment, clean/black utilities, and cleanrooms.
  • Broad experience in stakeholder management and aligning expectations.
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools and MS Project or similar tools.
  • Excellent command of both English and Dutch.
