Consultative Approach Talentmark

Managed Service Recruiting Project

Market leading manufacturer in diagnostics and analytical instruments

Background

This client, headquartered in Germany with offices worldwide, was limited in its capability to provide effective talent acquisition. As one of the market leading companies in diagnostics and analytical instrumentation, having the right talent to drive innovation and technology is a top priority. The company realized the need to materially increase its rate of hire to maintain its technological and competitive advantage.

Consultative Approach Talentmark

The Challenge

With more than 2,500 highly-skilled and engaged employees already at work, acquiring additional talent of this caliber, at the required rate to support the growth strategy, would be daunting. Increasing “brand awareness” with candidates was an additional challenge.

Solution

The company turned to Talentmark for support in setting up a “best in class” outsourced, recruitment process, that followed an active market approach designed to meet its growth strategy.

Talentmark managed all recruitment activities with a dedicated client delivery team. The team was fully integrated into the hiring process. Its goals: Ensure quality, increase qualified candidate flow, create a positive candidate experience, thereby achieving the results expected by the hiring managers.

Success Story

Talentmark’s efforts covered all crucial functions including Commercial, Production, Supply Chain, R&D, HR and Finance. More than 50 highly qualified and enthusiastic employees were hired through the end-to-end recruitment process in the first six months of the project.

Talentmark’s dedicated delivery team established an unprecedented continuity of candidates for hiring managers. In so doing, it materially lightened the burden on HR by virtually eliminating the “time sink” that comes with candidate acquisition. Talentmark’s contribution allowed HR to function at a much higher level of effectiveness and efficiency in this and its other areas of responsibility.

An additional benefit for the client was an overall reduction of external agency spending of approximately 30%.

Following the initial rollout, the client enhanced its relationship with Talentmark by expanding regional coverage of joint activities from the D/A/CH market to the EMEA region.
